Miles Hiked Overall: 39.5 (63.6 km)
So it poured last night and our tent leaked a ton...we are soaked. We were taking a break and drying out the tent (in the time between now and the next rain tonight) and so also took ourselves out to breakfast. Now we have to do laundry as all of our extra towels are soaked..and we might as well wash all of our clothes.
A smoked salmon omelet and lots of hot coffee helped us deal with all out wetness.
We then spent the afternoon in the Little Cheese Laundromat (we're in Tillamook...get it?)
We then went to Pacific City although tomorrow were hiking from Nehalem Bay. This is just where we could get a campsite as Nehalem Bay State Park was fully reserved for Friday and Saturday nights. We set up camp and played with all of the bunnies that abound around here!
The day ended with a beautiful sunset, the calm before the next storm.
