Miles Hiked Overall: 180.6 (290.6 km)
Today we hiked 2 shorter hikes...one from Nestucca Bay to Neskowin and then from Bob Straub State Park to Nestucca Bay for a total of 11.8 miles.
We saw more seals in the water and a sea lion (dead) on the beach. We also saw some deer in the beach grass on the top of the dunes. As you can see in the photos, the wonderful weather continued. You know it must be nice when Karen does not have a sweatshirt on!
It was also a banner day because I found 6 complete sand dollars...my favorite! I had found a couple in our first day of hiking but not wanting to have any extra weight, I didn't take them. But since now we're doing things a little differently, I took these and was very happy!
No, this photo is not us. However, it would be a much faster and easier way to cover the sections on the beach.
