Miles Hiked Overall: 195 (314 km)
Todday we did a short (4.8 mile) but very steep hike to God's Thumb. There is a section between Neskowin and Lincoln City that is not on the OCT because there is no trail cross the mountains and river that are in between. However, today we did one out and back hike to a beautiful landmark in this area called God's Thumb. From there we could see the Lincoln City beach (and even my parked car!) to the south and Cascade Head (another popular trail where we'll go tomorrow) to the north. It was hard work getting there, but the view was spectacular!
Back in town, I had my first oyster shooter!
