Miles Hiked Overall: 209 (336 km)
Today we hiked from Sand Lake to Bob Straub State Park, 7.1 miles. This hike starts the 3 Capes Hikes...there are 3 Capes close together and you can see all of them on a pretty short drive. (It's not short if you're hiking!) Today we climbed over Cape Kiwanda into Pacific City. The cape is actually a massive sand dune but due to recent rains (or something) the sand was packed nicely and it wasn't difficult to climb. While the beach is pretty secluded, it is full of small rivers and so it's a wet mess most of the way.
